Scale
Once there was nothing. Then it became possible to count.
An idle game about scale: a quark becomes an atom, an atom becomes a molecule,
and so on up to galaxies, clusters and whole universes. Each tier produces the
one below it, so the universe assembles itself even while the game is closed.
When it becomes cramped, the universe collapses. Progress resets, but dark
matter remains and the next run goes faster. Each collapse unlocks a tier that
was out of reach before.
The numbers are not abstract: the game tells you what the total is equal to.
The Eiffel Tower, the world ocean, the Moon, the Sun, the Milky Way, the
observable universe — and past that the names run out.
— 12 tiers, from quark to universe
— 30 upgrades, some of which change the rules rather than the numbers
— it keeps running while closed: come back and collect
